Playing Dress up

Happy Valentine's day to all of you lovelies out there.

I've been quiet lately due to being busy and being forgetful. Seriously, I will become a better blogger and try to have like a writing schedule.

Not a whole lot of things going on here. Just busy with work. I also haven't been able to go anywhere due to the Metro Transit bus strike. So I haven't been dressing up at all. Between going to work, boot camp and staying home, I don't really have a chance to dress nicely. Excuses, excuses, right!?

Anyways, so today is my day off, and I felt like playing dress up. Plus it's valentine's Day, so I'll look nice for the bf when he comes home. <3

The jacket is a dark teal color, which I got from Fancy Lucky Vintage. :D I absolutely love it.Plus this amazing feather headband I got for Christmas is to die for. It made its first appearance in my first blog post!

PS I also have a project in the works that I'm working on with a friend. Handmade leggings and a pencil skirt that I designed will hopefully be making an appearance soon! :)

Friday fashion Spotlight (Double!)

Hey gang!

As I promised last week I am doing a double post to make up for the I missed last Friday.

First things first, a lovely local vintage shop called Fancy Lucky Vintage! They offer great vintage pieces to add to any wardrobe.

You can find them in a few different spots in Nova Scotia, one being their main shop located in Lawrencetown and the other is located down town Halifax, on Gottingen street at Plan B. Or if you're not a local you can check out their Etsy store!

Next is a local fashion blog called Haute Halifax I just found this blog recently and fell in love. It's a 2 woman show where they both blog about fashion, local shops, the newest trends, music and more!

I absolutely love the layering she does with her bracelets and watches.

Definitely a look that I'll be working into my future outfits. Now I just gotta find some nice pieces to do that. Maybe I'll find something on my next shopping trip around the city.
